Spoke n Suspension
We build wheels and put the bounce back into your ride.

About.

I have always been into Endurance sports, road running and swimming. Marathons, Midmar Mile and a few comrades. On horseback I also did Endurance riding, loved the time spent in the country and in the saddle. Then one day a friend suggested that we do the Sabie MTB ride, I first said Iam a runner not a cyclist. As a child I spent most of my time on a bicycle or a horse on the farm, and then in Cape Town while studying I bought my first MTB and it was mainly used for commuting around the city. So we did the Sabie together and I loved it. I was truly hooked. Being a hands on type person it was a natural progression to me want to service my own steed. So I did a course with Rodger Blewett from The Bicycle Service Company. Soon after that Torqezone Academy opened their doors and were offering a four part course for Bicycle Technician Certification. Cytech is an internationally recognised training and accreditation scheme for bicycle technicians.

In our area we had little access to anyone that would service a bike, build wheels and repair suspension and seeing that more and more people are on suspension bicycles it was a way go forward and so we started a service orientated workshop and not a bike shop selling bikes, we leave that to salesmen that like to sell things. We at Spoke-n-Suspension want to service your bike which probably cost a penny or two, and maintain it in the condition you bought it in, we also know the attachment you have to your bike so we will take care of it as if it is one of our own.
